My theme for 2020 is Take Action.

My word for 2020 is ACTION. In my first year of business, I had infinite ideas, no direction and I found myself having too much on offer in my business. The ideas I was generating would stay in my notebook. As most new online business owners do, I signed up for freebies and then did nothing with them. By having exposure to hundreds of courses and freebies, I didn’t do anything with them because it was too overwhelming and I had no set goal of what I was looking to achieve by downloading them.

I am driven to say yes to more opportunities and my business and execute my marketing plan with intention. Upon setting this target for myself I realised that I was waiting for the perfect time and to have the perfect equipment to take action. I told myself so many limiting beliefs.
I can’t be a guest on a podcast until I have been in business for a certain length of time or I can’t be a guest speaker at events until people know who I am; and I can’t sell an online course until it is written.

All I did was give excuses and block myself and not take action. As a Gemini, I am very creative and impulsive. When I am in a creative zone, it is easy for me to lose focus and commit to my new shiny idea.

Part of saying yes and taking action took me outside of my comfort zone and I was petrified at the thought of putting myself out there for these opportunities. What if I was rejected? My desire to achieve and increase my visibility became so much higher!  These forms of medium make me very proud.
