Using Workflows to Automate my business
Once you have mapped out your standard processes for your new or exisiting clients, Dubsado can help by automating steps in the process. This is an example when a new enquiry is received from the above form.
After our appointment to ensure we are a suitable team I start this workflow. It really is a set and forget but for the client it is personalised. This includes contracts, invoices and a welcome email so the client knows what to expect. There is also an invoice created for this customer.
Email Management using Dubsado
This is a big time saver! Dubsado has a canned email, which is the same as having pre-written responses. An example is If you need a follow up email to send out once someone has booked an appointment with all the details, it can be done automatically using Dubsado. It has smart fields so the email is completely customised to suit each client booking with you.
You also have the ability to track emails using Dubsado. You can see if the emails have been received and even if they are read.
Invoicing
Using Dubsado makes invoicing easy. Dubsado integrates with Square, Stripe and soon to be Xero. My accounts reconcile automatically in Dubsado, I literally don’t need to lift a finger. I love that i can manage my calendar and clients all in one place using Dubsado. Dubsado colour codes the different types of appointments so they are easily identified as meetings, tasks and visibility of when invoices are due.
I couldn’t live without the scheduler option. There are different options that you can change per appointment type:
- Charge different prices per booking type For example, I have a Free 15 minute consultation for all new potential clients. If you would like to have a 1 hour meeting with me, it needs to be paid at the time of booking.
- Different appointment duration, same as example above
- Set different appointment dates for different days and times
- Appointments available for a certain time frame or indefinitely
The schedulers can be embedded into any webpage using the code or on a button.
