8 Reasons you need Asana to manage your business

Asana is a project management system that help proritise tasks and organize teams to be productive and accountable.

After spending a little bit of time getting to know Asana over a few meals and late nights, I found myself asking:

Asana, where have you been all my business life?

Like any new relationship, I can’t wait to show her off and declare my love to her to the world. As we have been getting to know each other we have really started working as a team.

I would love to tell you about her best qualities:

1. She is always by my side

There is an iOs app or for Andriod that you can check or will notify you at any time as set by you or a client to be sure you don’t miss anything.

2. She’s fits into any crowd

Asana keeps the conversations following either through the task or in the team communicator area.

3. She is very clear and concise if she has all the information

Each project can be broken down into tasks, each task can be broken down to subtasks and all of which can be allocated a due date and an “Assignee”.

4. She bosses me about

She tells me what needs to be done and by when in my own personal task list which can be broken into sections.

5. She puts me in my place when I need it

For each tasks, a status update can be applied so when you are behind schedule or something is outstanding, you will KNOW about it.

6. She is an oversharer

There are so many places for her to nag, i mean comment. So your client can comment on any Project, Task, Subtask or in the team chat space.

7.She is a social butterfly

Although she is a little picky who she talks to, Asana does integrate with many programs either directly or through API. Some programs include;

8.She’s Easy and Cheap!

Free initially but like any program you can pay for the additional extras or as the projects expand then there are some great add ons that are worth it.

In all seriousness, I love Asana. It is a program I literally use all day every day.
